The mission of the library is to extend and enrich classroom learning while providing a high degree of scholarship in a safe and secure environment of Christian values.

Lower School Library Services:
Grade Pre-K 2 through 3 visit the library on a weekly basis for book checkout and storytime/instruction. Grades 4-6 visit the library during scheduled visits with their teachers. Librarians foster a love of literature and provide support to the curriculum with instruction in research, computer use, library skills, and other objectives requested by teachers.
High School Library Services:

- Assistance in research from books, Internet and online resources
- Access to online eBook and audiobook collection

High School Library Book Checkout Policy:
Required Reading titles are checked out for a 5 week period. A three week check out period is given for research and special interest books. Reference books are never checked out unless special permission is given by the librarian. However, free copying of an article from a reference book is available.
Consequences for Overdue Books:
Students with an overdue book or an unpaid fine will not be allowed to check out another book until the previous book is returned and/or the fine is paid. Detentions will be given for students who fail to return overdue books.
Public Library Cards:
All students are encouraged to have a library card from their parish library. This will provide book check out for books that are not available in our own library and access to free tutoring services, e books, audiobooks, and the Louisiana Library Databases for subject area, student centered, academic research.
We have library card applications available from the Jefferson Parish Library. Jefferson Parish Library accepts applicants from all surrounding parishes. See Mrs. Sarah Moncivais if you do not have a public library card, and she will help you get one!
